Due to the changes in product development and technology, the requirement for lithium batteries has naturally increased. These types of batteries are used throughout any home or business either in a small or larger scale. Power tools are some of the most common products with batteries inside whilst you can have a company who requires to store hundreds of larger devices.

The safe storage of these batteries is paramount to any home or business due to the potential fire risks or each battery. The Phoenix battery safes come supplied with a charging unit inside which allow you to safely charge your devices when not in use.

Some of the batteries being stored inside will be heavy duty and it is always advisable to have these organised properly to prevent any damage.

Fire Protection

Lithium-ion battery fires are fast becoming a danger to life along with the safety of a building. Due to the volatility of the batteries, they can easily catch fire and it is not as simple as using a fire extinguisher to extinguish the flames. The Phoenix battery commander safe has many different features within the construction of the cabinet. There are air ventilation ducts which allow the heat to be extracted to prevent the build up of heat and temperature. An internal temperature monitor is included which as an external temperature display which allows you to check on the temperature.

Each unit will have been tested to a fire rating standard and will have either 60 minutes, 90 minutes or 120 minutes of fire protection.

Size and Locking Types

Lithium battery safes will come in a different range of sizes and locking options to suit your requirements. The are smaller safes such as the battery titan which is ideal for the home or small business. Whilst we also have battery commander which is designed for larger organisations such as warehouses, hotels, takeaway services and electric bike hire companies.

There are three different options to choose from when selecting the locking type such as a key lock, electronic lock and fingerprint lock. Please consider your specification in term of the lock prior to purchase.

Additional Extras and Add Ons

Depending on your needs we can also customize your battery safe with optional extras to increase the safety of your contents. These optional features include an alarm, smoke detector, fire extinguisher and controller.
