The Phoenix BS1281K Battery Titan is a fireproof safe designed for storage of lithium batteries. Safe storage of rechargeable batteries is important due to the unpredictability of lithium ion batteries. The titan has 60 minutes fire protection and is ideal for storing battery packs and small devices.
Secure Storage of Lithium Batteries

Construction and Fire Resistance
Due to the fire protection required on a battery safe, the Titan has double wall construction and an internal fill of patented Styronite F insulation. It has a fire rating of 60 minutes and has been tested in accordance with NT Fire 017-60 Standard.
A drop test has been conducted to test the impact from 9.1 metres for the impact of falling through a burning floor within a building.
The Battery Titan displays the correct warning labels in accordance with ISO3864 and ISO 7010.
Battery fires are very dangerous due to the potential of the temperature increasing which can cause the battery to ignite and even cause a fire explosion.

The key features of the Phoenix Battery Titan are that all models come fitted with an internal smoke detector, a handy pull out drawer which can be used for small items such as a mobile phone. On the back of the door there are 4 key hooks which can be used for small keys.

Locking Type - Cylinder key lock
The Phoenix BS1281K - Battery Titan has a cylinder key lock and comes standard with 2 keys. The variant with a cylinder key lock offers high reliability, is easy to operate and competitively priced.

Fixing and Installation
The Phoenix Battery Titan has been prepared for base fixing only and not back wall fixing. The fixing bolts provided are required to be used on concrete floors. If you require the safe to be anchored to a wooden floor with joists, then please contact us for further information.
If you are planning to keep your garden tools and power tools safe then we would highly recommend to install the safe to the floor.
