What is Eurograde 1 - EN 1143-1?

EN1143-1 is a European security standard for security safes and cabinets. Rigorous tests are undertaken so that it meets the standards of EN1143-1.

Insurance companies require the fixing of a Eurograde safe to be the anchored into a concrete floor or solid wall.

Cash and Valuables Required

Each Eurograde safe has a cash rating and valuables rating. The valuables rating is always 10 times the value of the cash rating.

We always recommend to have a safe that more than covers what you are planning to store within the safe. As you may purchase or store more cash/valuables in the future.

Your insurers may also recommend a certain or minimum insurance rating when purchasing a safe. Many Eurograde safes all come with a fire rating included.

Size

When selecting a safe it is also important to consider the size and capacity of the safe you require. Measuring the dimensions of the space that the safe is due to be placed in is crucial as you need to make sure that the safe will be suited to the space you have.

Locking Type
