This will depend on your insurance company, they may specify a certain insurance rating for your safe. Certified means the way the safe has been constructed and built to a certain standard or level. Please see our blog article for further information -

With regards to a safe not being certified, this is meant in terms of burglary or fire protection. So this safe is not certified in burglary protection.
