The Chubbsafes Air 15K is a simple safe and offers limited protection against burglary and theft. The safe is competitively priced and offers an insurance rating of £1,000 for Cash and £10,000 for Valuables. Ideal to store small amounts of jewellery and cash.
Equipped with a Double bitted key lock
The safe has external dimensions of 250 x 350 x 250 mm (HxWxD) and weighs 11 kg. The internal dimensions are 240 x 340 x 200 mm (HxWxD). The model has a clearance size of 190 x 255 mm (HxD).
Model Air 15K features a double-bit key lock and comes with 2 keys as standard. Bear in mind when managing a double bit key, these are often long keys that you need to store safely. Should a burglar find the safe key, he will have unhindered access to the safe. A variant with a key lock requires good and secure key management.
Construction and Anchoring
The Chubbsafes Air 15K has 4 mm thick steel door plate and 2 mm single-wall hull construction finished in a durable anthracite powder coating. The integrated hinge adds an extra layer of security, while the solid locking mechanism with chrome-plated 18 mm thick locking pins provides solid protection.
The safe has 2 anchoring holes in both the bottom and back wall. With the supplied anchoring material, the safe can be fixed to the floor and/or wall to prevent theft.

The Chubbsafes Air is a simple, well designed home safe that offers you basic security in the home.
It is easy to use and can anchored into the base or wall for added security.
- I felt I needed a discrete safe for some of my smaller items.
The build is superb, I particularly liked the option of orientation to fix it securely.
I am well aware it is not fire proof, but it won't be in the house.
I am aware of those limitations but am more than happy to use it.
I would recommend this safe to anyone seeking piece of mind - This is a very good handy sized safe, just right for what I needed.

- The safe comes with fixing bolts. However I used M8 locking bolts to fix it to the wall. They will have to take the wall with them if they want this safe
- No number to remember which was good for us. Fitted into a cupboard to the wall
