The De Raat DRS Prisma is a high security Eurograde 1 safe that has been tested by ECBS to the security standard of EN1143-1. It has an excellent insurance rating of £10,000 for cash and £100,000 for valuables. It is an ideal safe for any home or business environment.
De Raat Prisma I/0 Burglar-Resistant Safe
The Prisma series from De Raat is a burglar and fire-resistant safe for the protection of cash, valuables and documents.
The prisma-1 is equipped with 2 adjustable shelf(s) with external dimensions 1130 x 1245 x 485 mm. The specified external depth is excluding 50 mm for the handle and lock. The safe has a capacity of 443 litres and a weight of 268 kg.
Burglar-Resistant Certified Grade I - EN 1143-1
The De Raat prisma-1 is a European certified safe. Burglar-resistant, the Prisma is certified and tested to Grade I - EN 1143-1 and thus offers a value storage of £ 10,000 / £ 100,000 for cash / valuables.
Value Storage
Insurers link a cash value to the various resistance classes as an indication of coverage. This is also called storage of value or insured value.
Are the contents of the safe (automatically) insured?
If you want to insure specific valuables with a high value or a lot of cash against theft, it is advisable to contact your insurance company.
Insurance Approved Safe (AiS) - The De Raat Prisma is an insurance approved safe (AiS – Association of insurance surveyors).
What does Fire-Resistant according to DIN 4102 mean?
If a safe manufacturer uses a non-flammable or flame-retardant filling material from the DIN standard, we can already speak of fire safety according to DIN 4102. In practice, double-walled safes are filled with a material, such as Rockwool, as a fire-resistant filling or insulating material.
- DIN 4102 is not a standard for safes!
- Safe constructions according to DIN 4102 are not tested in a fire!
- Fire safety of a safe according to DIN 4102 is very limited; in a fire just a few minutes!

Construction Features
The Prisma is equipped with a 30mm 3-way locking bolts system and has a multi-walled hull of 25 mm thick.
The extra strong door construction is 84 mm thick. This prisma-1 has a double protection mechanism, an extra glass plate has been fitted, which activates the bolt protection against a burglary attempt.
Locking Type - Double bitted key lock
The De Raat Prisma has a double-bitted key lock (EN 1300 Certified) and it comes as standard with two keys. The variant with a double-bit key lock offers high reliability, is easy to operate and competitively priced.
Take into account the management of a double-bit key, these are often long keys that you should store safely. Should a burglar find the safe key, he has unimpeded access to the safe. A variant with a key lock requires good and secure key management. Therefore always consider an electronic code lock.
Anchoring
The Prisma has 1 anchoring hole in the base of the safe and can be secured and anchored to the floor. Installation via stairs can also be arranged, access and stair details would have to be worked out prior to attendance. Please contact us for further information on this.
