Description
The Oculto from Burton is a high security underfloor safe which is ideal to store cash and valuables securely. The Oculto has a waterproof lid which creates a waterproof seal to protect your valuables and cash. It comes with a recommended insurance rating of £17,500 for Cash and £17,500 for Valuables.
The internal dimensions of the underfloor safe are 245 x 260 x 267mm (HxWxD) with the internal volume of 19 litres. It also comes supplied with a high security Double bitted key lock.
Construction
The Burton Oculto has been manufactured with 2.5mm thick steel along with a 10mm thick neck. It also has a 40mm thick stainless steel door with a single locking bolt. The Oculto includes a wire mesh which protects the neck and door against drill attacks.
The door diameter for access to your cash or valuables is 160mm.
For installation, the Oculto has to be set into reinforced concrete below floor level. Instructions of how to complete the installation process is included together with the safe. The Oculto can be installed by a builder or a competent DIYer, a special mix of concrete is required for this process.
