LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E Eurograde Safe
The Chubbsafes Duoguard range offers excellent burglary and fire protection for money, valuables and documents. This makes the LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E very suitable for home or office and available in no less than 8 models.
This model, the DUO-II-65E, is a Eurograde safe with external dimensions of 578 x 526 x 547 mm (HxWxD) and weighs 303 kg. Thanks to the capacity of 65 litres you have enough space to safely store your valuables.
Burglar-Proof Certified Grade II - EN 1143-1
The LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E is a European-certified safe. It is burglary resistant and the DUO-II-65E is certified Grade II - EN 1143-1 thus offering a value retention of £ 17,500 / £ 175,000 for cash / valuables.

Fireproof Certified NVT (not tested and certified) - DIN 4102
The LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E is a certified safe according to the European Standard NT Fire 017 and protects paper documents during 90 minutes. This means that important documents, such as passports, certificates, records should be kept at least for 90 minutes in a full fire.
In addition, data media such as DVDs, USB sticks and memory cards during 90 minutes fire-resistant storage.
During the fire test, a very severe fire is simulated, with the safe placed in a pre-heated oven and exposed to very high temperatures. For the test period in accordance with NT Fire 017 the temperature is 1090°C.
Equipped with a Electronic Lock
The LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E features an electronic code lock (EN 1300 certified) with an ergonomic soft-touch handle. The lock has 1 master code and 9 user codes can be created. In addition, an opening delay can also be set. There is also the option of an alarm box, which provides a notification in case of a forced opening.
The batteries of the electronic code lock can be replaced on the outside. An electronic code lock is very reliable and you have no risk of key loss or unattended duplication of keys.
Construction and Anchoring
The LIPS Brandkasten DUO-II-65E is filled with special barrier material called Dualite. The 3-sided locking mechanism has solid and chrome-plated locking pins and offers excellent protection for your valuables. In addition, the safe offers good protection against attacks thanks to an active locking bolt and anti-drill protection made of T200X carbide-clad steel.
The finish in an anthracite-coloured powder coating that is scratch-resistant. The DUO-II-65E can be anchored to the floor, if drilling is not possible you can alternatively glue the safe.

Slot opties
De DuoGuard GII kan uitgevoerd worden met een sleutelslot klasse A of een elektronisch codeslot klasse B.
Een uitvoering met twee sloten is beschikbaar vanaf model 110. Het sleutelslot kan dan aangevuld worden met een combinatieslot of elektronisch codeslot.
Alle sloten zijn getest door ECB•S en zijn gecertificeerd volgens de EN 1300 norm.
Het DuoGuard GII elektronisch codeslot klasse B gecertificeerd door ECB•S – heeft de volgende eigenschappen:
- 1 mastercode, 1 beheerdercode, 7 gebruikerscodes
- Openingsvertraging tot 99 minuten
