The Burton Eurovault Aver S2 has an insurance rating of £4,000 for cash and £40,000 for valuables. It is ideal to store and secure your cash, jewellery, watches and valuables. It comes with a high security Double bitted key lock. The Aver S2 has been independently tested and certified to EN14450 S2 by ECBS.
Secured by Design
The has been approved by the UK Police and AiS (Association of Insurance Surveyors). In terms of storing items the Aver S2 is suitable to store cash and valuables such as watches, jewellery along with important documents.
Construction
The Aver has been constructed with a 30mm thick door along with 3 way locking bolts which have a 19mm diameter. The construction of the door allows the door to be opened to 90 degrees which provides easier access. The Aver S2 has the added protection of a manganese steel anti-drilling plate to protect from attack.
It comes supplied with 2 shelf which can be removed/adjusted if required. The external dimensions of the are 800 x 445 x 400 mm (HxWxD mm).
In terms of installation, the safe comes with one pre-drilled fixing hole in the base and one partially drilled fixing hole in the rear of the safe. A fixing kit is included with each safe, Burton recommends the safe to be installed to a concrete floor where possible.
Locking Type - Double bitted key lock
The Burton Aver S2 has a high security double-bitted key lock (EN 1300 certified) and comes with 2 keys as standard. The variant with a double-bit key lock offers high reliability, is easy to operate and competitively priced.
Take into account the management of a double-bit key, these are often long keys that you should store safely. Should a burglar find the safe key, they then have access to the safe. A variant with a key lock requires good and secure key management. Therefore always consider an electronic code lock.

- The Burton Eurovault Aver S2 5K safe is light weight but at the same time it is very robust with strong locking mechanisms. I did a fair bit of comparing safes and suppliers before ordering. I found the Aver S2 5K safe to be excellent value for the price, and with free delivery and fitting (which was done professionally, cleanly and promptly) included in the price it is a no brainer.
At the time of purchase, I ordered an extra shelf and was pleased that I did for it gave further flexibility to divide the safe into compartments more suited to my needs. I am very pleased that I ordered from Simply Safes and have no hesitation in recommending this safe. A very happy customer :-)
