Insurance rating ( cash / valuables )
Value storage, also referred to as insurance value, is a yardstick for distinguishing the burglary resistance of different safes.
The higher the value storage, the higher the resistance to burglary, and therefore the better the burglar proof safe.
In a safe with a valuables rating of £10,000, you can store up to £1,000 in cash. It is therefore not wise to store a cash amount of £20,000 in a safe with a value of £5,000.
For valuables, the value storage will be x 10. A safe with an insurance rating of £10,000 for cash will then relate to £100,000 for valuables.
