Phoenix Battery Commander BS1934F Fireproof Lithium-Ion Battery Safe
The Battery Commander Series from Phoenix is for the secure storage of lithium-ion batteries. The BS1934F comes supplied with an internal temperature monitor and air ventilation ducts. There are several additional options to choose from.
Lithium-Ion Battery Storage
The frequent usage of lithium ion batteries in everyday life is becoming increasingly common. A lithium battery has vulnerabilities in terms of the ability to easily catch fire and can be often extremely difficult to extinguish or control.
There have been some cases where homes or businesses in the UK have caught fire due to a lithium ion battery igniting into flames. The secure storage of lithium batteries is now paramount to any individual or business due to the health and safety risks that lithium batteries carry.
It is highly recommended that battery storage is taken seriously due to the danger of a lithium battery fire.
Construction Features
The battery commander has double walled construction and comes supplied with insulation that provides fire and heat resistance. It has 90 minutes fire protection and a drop test has been simulated from 9.1 metres, this is to replicate the situation if the safe fell through the floors of building during a fire.
The cabinet has ventilation ducts included which are heat protected. The unit is then sealed if the unit catches fire from an internal battery or building fire. Additional ventilation can be added on, please contact us for further information.
The cabinet comes as standard with a temperature monitor which is connected internally to check and monitor the heat inside the unit.
Warning labels are included in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, along with the European directive of 92/58/EEC.
Power Charging Points and Features
The battery commander has been designed for secure battery storage of lithium and rechargeable batteries. Included is a wired in power supply which allows you to charge lithium batteries or a battery pack when not in use.
Due to the severity and fire hazards that lithium batteries pose, ensuring that they are stored correctly is important. The Phoenix Battery Commander is supplied with heavy duty shelves which create more space and organisation for storing batteries, so they are not stacked on top of each other which could cause damage and issues to the battery packs.
An important feature on the Commander is the automatic door system which will close due to the auto closing system. This is to help any internal fire from spreading through buildings and causing damage.
Locking Type - Electronic Lock With Fingerscan
The Phoenix Battery Commander BS1934F features a fingerprint lock. The lock has 1 master code and up to 128 fingerprints can be registered. In addition, an alarm or dual code can also be set.
The lock's batteries can be replaced on the outside. A fingerprint code lock is very reliable and you have no risk of key loss or unattended duplication of keys.
Optional Extras
Phoenix can also provide additional optional extras based upon your requirements in the storage facilities that you have. Such as a smoke detector, alarms, a controller, fire extinguisher along with external heat and alarm monitoring.

As standard the Commander is fitted with a surge protected 8 gang power block. If you require an additional solution we can included up to 3 power blocks to the pre-wired control boxes.
