Pros: It had what I wanted with coded access, plus a key option, I like the light inside and the shelves are a great size

Thank you for contacting us about the Securikey MiniVault. The internal LED light are powered by their own batteries and do not rely on the power source for the lock. Neither the lock or LED require a mains supply. Claire Davies

Thank you for contacting us about the Minivault Gold FR 2E. The batteries are put in from the outside so there is no key override. Should you get locked out there is a manufacturer code which you will need to register for when you purchase the safe. James Blackburn

Thank you for contacting us to ask about this product. We do not recommend any cabinets or safes are fixed to a stud wall as it is not a solid fixing point. The fixings supplied are for a solid brick wall. If you need to secure it to a block wall you will need to source alternative fixings which are available from any good DIY store. James Blackburn
