I like this safe but it does not have a rear fixing, is it possible to drill this safe?

     Simon Turner  —  01/07/2015

Thank you for contacting us regarding this fire safe, the more fixing points in a safe the less resistance to fire it has. Manufacturers prefer base fixing as this usually provides the strongest fixing. We do not recommend drilling the safe as it will affect the fire rating and void the warranty.James Blackburn
What happens if I forget my code to gain access? Does it require mains power?

     Anonymous  —  10/04/2014

Thank you for contacting us to ask about emergency access to the safe and how it is powered. This safe model has keys which can be used to bypass the electronic lock should you forget the code or the batteries run low. This range of safes does not require mains power, they are powered by batteries which are stored internally.James Blackburn
