Delivery Information & Returns
Delivery for all products on our website is FREE to the kerbside in mainland UK. Ground floor drop off means kerbside delivery - please check if you are ordering a heavy safe. If you require the safe to be positioned / moved closer than kerbside or inside the building this may incur a further cost.

At the checkout you will be asked to select your delivery option; Ground floor drop off, upper floor via suitable lift or upper floor via stairs. If you select upper floor via suitable lift or upper floor via stairs we will contact you with a price for delivery (please note that this refers to ONE flight of a domestic staircase). If there are more stairs, please call us prior to placing your order.

Delivery of all safes is between 3 to 5 working days OR 10 to 14 days (depending on size of safe). If you require the safe sooner than this please contact us, as often this can be arranged.

If an item is out of stock (and therefore will take longer to deliver) you will be notified at the time of ordering.

A signature is required on all deliveries. All items are delivered Monday to Friday, between 9am and 6pm.

Whilst we try our best to adhere to the approximate delivery times given, we cannot be held responsible for unexpected delays that may occur at any stage in the supply chain.

Returns

This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.

You may return your purchase to Simply Safes for a refund by obtaining a customer authorization number (CAN) within 7 days of the delivery date. To obtain a CAN please e-mail your invoice or order number and reason for return to crn@simplysafes.co.uk.

Please note all returns are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • You must have received a CAN number from our customer service department.

  • The product must be in “as-new” condition, with either original or suitable packaging and with all manuals and accessories.

  • You will receive a refund minus our outgoing delivery cost and collection charge and this amount will be confirmed once we have received your email. Please note a restocking charge may also apply to certain items and will be advised to you. If the delivery was free the outgoing cost will be approximately 10-15% of the total cost of the order, the amount will be advised to you.


  • Goods will be returned to Simply Safes or another named agent. Any postage and packaging cost incured on a returned item are for the buyers account and will be non-refundable.

    Please allow up to 28 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account. However we will endeavour to resolve it as soon as possible.

    Special Deliveries

    We are happy to deliver to upper floors without lift access but please note this may be subject to an additional charge. A pre-delivery questionnaire will need to be completed in order to give a quote. Please call us for more information.

    In some cases a site survey may be required at no extra cost to you.

    Installation

    For installation by a qualified locksmith, please call us for a price. Usually a site survey will be required at no extra cost to you.

    Non-UK Mainland Delivery and Highlands

    We are more than happy to deliver our products to non-UK mainland delivery addresses such as the Highlands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and Shetland Islands but there will be an additional delivery charge. Please telephone us to obtain a delivery price.

    International Delivery

    We also offer international delivery on the majority of our products but this will also be subject to an additional delivery charge. Please telephone us to obtain a delivery price.

    Aborted Delivery

    We regret that in the event of an aborted delivery additional charges will be payable to us and are quoted per delivery, as and when they should arise.

    An aborted delivery can be due either to missing delivery information such as more steps at the delivery address than originally stated on your order or out of service lifts, inaccessible doors.
