How do I get a quotation as I want the safe to be located within a modern house, upstairs. Will the floor take the load and what cost?

     Paul Kelly  —  09/02/2016

Thank you for contacting us about this safe from Burton Safes. We can quote no problem at all, we would need to see pictures of the stairs, measurements of any landings and door openings. This model weighs 178kg so you would need to check with a structural engineer or local builder as they are the best to provide guidance on this. It is not likely to be a problem but you would need to check this out. It will depend on the type of flooring, if it is concrete then it should not be a problem at all. If there are wooden floors we will need to get this rear drilled so you can fix to a solid wall. We look forward to hearing from you with more details in due course.James Blackburn
